Hello,
Thanks for stopping by on our little corner of the internet. This is our blog page, and as you can see, there’s currently only one post – this one. I can promise you right now, if you’re looking for a fun-filled, informational, thrilling, etc. blog, you’ve probably come to the wrong place. What I can tell you is that we’ll sporadically blog every now and again. We like to talk about horses, what’s happening at the farm, and food. Honestly, that last one — everyone likes to talk about that right?
Things at the farm have been very busy as of late — we’ve been on trail rides, training, going to shows –hello, barrel riding!– doing chores, etc. but we’re also in the midst of home repairs/painting, brush clearing, and so much more. If you’d like to follow along on our daily adventures, Annalyse, our trainer posts fairly regularly on our Facebook page – the link is on our homepage!
In the meantime – I thought I would leave you with a list of our top 5 snacks to bring to shows..
- apples + peanut butter
- crackers – we mostly do gluten free and I’ve personally been LOVING Edward & Sons brown rice snaps
- grapes + cheese
- lots of water + body armor drinks – not really a snack but oh so necessary
- granola bars/cliff bars
Always nice to pack a cooler, especially when we’re going to smaller horse shows that don’t have concessions. Smaller shows are more intimate, we know more of the crowd, and it’s a great place for beginners to start to learn the ropes without feeling too intimidated.
What is your favorite snack to bring to shows? Tell us in the comments below!
